There seems to be magic over this section of the city, there is no sounds of battle, the skies are eerily all seemed to be painted all the same color unnatural blue and the citizens don’t seem to be aware their city is under siege.  They are in the market and chatting with each other…that is until we arrive with the giant worm.

We go after Morticus and behind us hear a commotion.  As Morticus falls I look and see a giant of some sort behind a huge iron shield moving unusually fast.  Screams of the townspeople echo off the buildings and many start running out of the market into the cathedral across from us.

Pinroy’s brothers arrived.  Some seem very interested in the people running for the cathedral. The others stay close to Pinroy.

We decided to use the buildings as shelter to try and make our way forward, but a hag appears on the bridge before us and begins to speak in a language we don’t understand.  Three muscular demons appear near us.  They are tough but we take them out only to have her call in three more – this time winged fiends.  “Kill the hag” Oberon shouts as he takes down one of the demons.

We almost have the hag, but she is able to call three more demons before she falls. A one-eyed one that seems to be surveying the carnage from a perch on the inn’s balcony, another smaller one coming toward us and a third, giant size demon who causes madness wherever every we go.  Thank the gods Scorch and Pinroy was able to resist.

There is a loud crash and the speeding giant barrels through the cathedral as if it were parchment, the walls caving in on the people.  I don’t have time to see if anyone survived as there are fights breaking out all around us.  Lizard against lizard, soldier against soldier, orc against gnoll.  Madness is taking over the city.

Oberon falls first and turns on us yelling that we betrayed him.  Chillax follows and becomes obsessed with treasure.  He steals the bag of holding and talks about reassembling the staff.  Me, I swear if one more person doesn’t do what I tell them to I will kill them.  Oberon goes running past us and Pinroy calls for us to gather by Scorch, we have to leave or will die.

“What about Oberon?” I ask.  “We can’t leave him.”

“We will use the candle,” Scorch assures me.  “We’ll be back to claim him and Pinroy can heal him.”

Pinroy cures us of our madness and Scorch draws the door and we walk through.
